Marko Vucic is a photographer and filmmaker based in Switzerland, shooting architecture, interiors and hospitality. His work is unhurried and warm, and the portfolio had to behave the same way: the site is a viewing environment first, and everything else defers to the image.

Marko came with references rather than a design, so the build was directed from that reference language: an editorial layout on a soft paper ground, film-grain treatment, and case studies that open like spreads. The motion is deliberately restrained. Images settle rather than fly, transitions are slow and weighted, and the reveal timing is tuned so a photograph is never competing with the animation showing it.

I developed the whole site, translating those references into a working system of layout, motion and case-study structure. The hard part was pacing: high-end animation that never pulls focus from the photography it exists to serve.
